A Quick Dive into Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

Although the buzz word “work from home” gained a lot of support and traction, it is a matter of concern as work is happening on shared and unmanaged devices, over unsecured networks, and in unauthorized or incompatible applications.

To address this challenge, Microsoft has introduced Azure Virtual Desktop (formerly Windows Virtual Desktop) which is a cloud-based solution based on Azure for delivering desktop as a service that offers full desktop virtualization with Windows 10 multi-session and Remote application virtualization.
